ぜったいりょう【絶対量】

an absolute [a total] quantity.

●絶対量が足りない[多すぎる] there is an absolute [outright] shortage [surplus].

●やりくりしても絶対量の不足はどうにもならない. There's no way you can make do if there is a fundamental shortage [simply isn't enough to go around].

●絶対量は変わらない. There is no change in the total quantity.
